To ensure that our events run smoothly and our WhatsApp community is the safe space envisioned, it is important that BGTC members abide by the below policies.

WhatsApp community rules

1. Be respectful, kind and courteous to each other.

2. Do not spread fake news - factual information shared on the group chat, especially in connection to sensitive topics, must be from reputable sources.

3. Whilst non-travel related conversations are allowed, there are certain discussions that are not permitted on the group chat. Please message the group admin first if you are unsure about a topic you would like to discuss being allowed on the groupchat.

4. Do not spam the group chat e.g. with promotional content.

5. Hate speech or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.

6. Everyone’s privacy must be respected.

Events/socials policies

1. Treat other people with care and respect. Rude or poor behaviour will not be tolerated.

2. Tickets are non-refundable. There is no obligation on BGTC to sell your ticket if you cancel. However, we are happy to offer advice and share to people that might be interested in buying your ticket.​
